You can make your financial donation to St. Joan of Arc Parish by clicking the photo to the left. You will be taken to a secure website which is operated by our banking partner, Good Shepherds Bank.
If you have not donated to St. Joan online before, please take a moment to read the information contained on this page.
We appreciate your support of our Spiritual Home.
Briefly: Of the various options you will be presented with for online donations, we would like to encourage you to utilize the "electronic check" option to donate directly from your checking (or savings) account. There are two reasons for this.
First, the "electronic check" option is a no-fee option for the parish. The transfer of funds from your bank to ours happens electronically, and without any added fee to you, or the parish.
Second, as proponents of the Financial Peace principles, it is important to us that parishioners minimize (or eliminate) the use of credit cards in order to achieve a higher level of financial freedom.
With that said, a Visa Debit Card or Mastercard Check Card option could be used as a second-favored option. The fees to the parish associated with either of these will be around 2% of the amount of transaction.
Finally, the option to pay via a true Visa/Mastercard or Discover transaction will be available. We understand that some parishioners benefit from using such cards for "miles" or "points". The parish will be charged additional fees, similar to the debit fees above. If you are one of the "pay it off every month" minority, this can be an option.
However, the parish does not encourage anyone to use credit card transactions to provide funds to the church IF it will cause the parishioner to incur additional finance charges, interest, or otherwise jeopardize their financial health.
Through a partnership with Good Shepherds Bank, we are now able to offer the convenience and safety of secure, online transactions.
Online giving is simple, secure, and a great benefit to the parish:
Put your gift to work TODAY by giving online directly to the church's account.
Make giving simple for you AND for the church staff.
Rest easy knowing your transaction is handled using the highest in internet security.
Set up for a one-time gift, or quickly schedule recurring transactions to simplify your giving.
You can give online by clicking on the offering basket on the left side of this page. When you do so, you will automatically be taken to a secure payment site where you will be able to complete your donation in three easy steps.
1. Choose your options:
Select whether you wish to make a one-time gift, or set up a repeating gift.
A one-time gift will only produce one, single transaction.
A repeating gift will be withdrawn at a recurring, set time - on whatever schedule you decide (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.). If you choose this option, you will be asked to set up a login and password so that you can securely log in to the site in the future if you need to change your giving schedule, the amount of your gift, or for any other reason. (Also, 5 days before each automatic gift is withdrawn, you will be reminded by email of the upcoming transaction. If you do not wish to complete the transaction for any reason, you have five days to log in and change your giving schedule.)
Choose the category of funds you wish to apply your donation to. Some funds (like, "Regular Collection") will always appear. Others may appear as specific projects or needs arise. You will be able to specify the amount you wish to donate to each category.
Enter your name and other personal information to verify your identity. (This information is kept private, and not sold or used for other purposes.)
2. Select the type of bank account for you gift:
Currently, an electronic check (a withdrawal directly from your personal checking or savings account) is the only available option. You will specify if it is a checking or savings account during this step.
Other types of transactions (Debit/Check Card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover) will soon be available. Please read the side-bar discussion about the various forms of payment before selecting anything other than "electronic check".
You will enter your bank's Routing Number, and your Account Number.
Enter your name in the signature box to authorize the withdrawal.
3. Confirm:
You will see a summary of your transaction. Look it over and verify the information. If you need to make a change, you can return back to step 2.
When everything is correct, click on "Finish" to complete your transaction.
This method of sharing your financial resources is safe and easy. Please refer to the information on this page to answer some common questions. If you have other questions, please email Shelly Reida, Business Manager.
