Baptism

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” – Matthew 28:19-20

Baptism is birth into the new life in Christ and is the first sacrament of Christian initiation.  In accordance with the Lord’s will, baptism is necessary for salvation, as well as to enter the Church.  Baptism imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual sign, the character, which consecrates the baptized person for Christian worship.

Baptisms are generally celebrated after the Masses on weekends.

Baptism prep classes are offered quarterly.

Please contact Suzanne Kearney in the parish office at 865-6688 for more information and to register for the class.
