“The Call” is a dynamic annual two-day weekend retreat, open to high school teens of the Lafayette Diocese and beyond. The retreat is organized by SJA Youth Ministry and Youth Council and takes place here at St. Joan of Arc, usually the last weekend of March.

Retreatants can expect to hear inspirational and motivating talks from a nationally known Catholic speaker brought in for the event. They also experience energy-charged and uplifting music, participate in breakout sessions, join in icebreakers and games, enjoy fellowship with Catholic friends, and of course take part in powerful liturgy including daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and the an opportunity for the sacrament of Reconciliation.

God has used this retreat to touch many teens in a special way. For some it has even been life-transforming. Much support from parishioners is needed to pull off an event of this size. As it gets closer watch the bulletin and this site for organizational meetings and ways you can volunteer a few hours or the entire weekend.  Donations of food, paper goods, cash contributions to offer cover the cost of the retreat for students in need, etc are always appreciated.
