Baptisms are typically celebrated after the 11:30 am Mass on Sunday. Baptism Preparation classes are required for those parents who have not previously attended a class. You must be a member of St. Joan of Arc to have your child baptized. If you have a child that needs to be baptized, please contact Jill Aaron at 765-865-9964 ext 105.
Baptism is birth into the new life in Christ and is the first sacrament of Christian initiation. In accordance with the Lord’s will, baptism is necessary for salvation, as well as to enter the Church. Baptism imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual sign, the character, which consecrates the baptized person for Christian worship. What's the role of Godparents?
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” - Matthew 28:19-20
