Ahead of the 2023-2024 Year of Parish Eucharistic Revial, the Kokomo pastorate formed a lay team to brainstorm ideas for increasing our devotion to the Eucharist - through existing opportunities in the parishes, special events & new initiatives.  It would be hard to miss that over the last year, there has been big emphasis on the Source & Summit of our Faith - the Eucharist!

Special Initiatives

• Summer 2023 remodel of our Perpetual Adoration Chapel
• Eucharist Speaker Series talks - a quarterly opportunitity to learn more about our belief in the presence of Christ in the Eucharist!
• Family-Friendly & Beginner-Friendly Holy Hours - a quarterly opportunity to make a Holy Hour with those new to the practice in mind, including young families introducing their children to time with Jesus.  Followed by a short social.
• 40 Hours Devotion in Fall 2023 featuring clergy who reflected on themes related to the Eucharist 
• Miriam Dinner in Spring 2024 (hosted at SJA) w/ Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist - an opportunity for young women to meet the sisters and explore a religious vocation
• Lenten Mission in Spring 2024 which featured Sr. Joseph Andrew, one of the foundresses of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist 
• Lent 2024 Pastorate Seder Dinner 
• Pastorate wide book studies on Brett Pitre's Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist 
• Beginning in June 2024, Adore and Play summer play group for families
